Our natural salt plates are artisan-crafted from ethically sourced primordial ocean deposits that have been protected in the remote, pristine Himalayan Mountains for 250 million years.

Perfect chilled for serving sushi,salads, appetizers, fruits, and heated in the oven or on a direct gas flame for cooking vegetables and thinly sliced meats, fish, poultry, searing prawns and seafood, and for gourmet desserts that call for just a hint of good salt.

The clean, light, delicate mineral-rich flavour or enhances foods you cook or serve, yet does not over salt flavours. This pretty salt slab provides you with great dining sensation and gourmet taste that no ordinary salt can come close. It is an excellent serving plate for presenting your gourmet dishes hot or chilled, such as grilled or pan fried steaks, scallops, shrimps, lamb chops, corns, mushrooms etc; not to mention your favorite sashimi and sushi dishes.

This wonderful salt brings out the natural flavour of your favorite meats and veggies, in fact the favour is enhanced and elevated to higher level of pleasant surprise. Doubtless an excellent serving plate for higher sensation of gourmet enjoyment.

With proper care and handling after use, like drying with towels and stored inside plastic bag after cleaning could much prolong the reusable life of this serving plate. This salt slab can also be used as cooking slab that with proper heating process will also offer you with another unique gourmet sensation.

There are numerous youtube clips featuring this cooking salt slab intro. However, caution must be taken to heat up this salt slab and subsequent cleaning and storage after use, otherwise the slab could crack into pieces, then it becomes edible Himalayan salt chunks.

IMPORTANT that you start heating the slab with low heat (small fire) for 5~10 mins, and then switch to medium high heat for another 10 mins. For oven baking, starts with 120℃ for 15 mins then 180℃ for another 15 mins.

If salt slab is not dried enough after cleaning, moisture being rapidly heat up could crack the slab too. Since the actual cooking conditions can be different, we cannot predict the exact cooking cycle for the salt slab.

DO NOT USE SOAP. DO NOT PLACE IN DISHWASHER. DO NOT SUBMERGE IN WATER. Dry with a clean cloth and allow to further air dry. Store in location with low humidity. Do not store on metal, copper, or bronze surfaces. Himalayan salt does not require the use of any cleanser as it is naturally antimicrobial.

Note that our Himalayan Salt Plates are natural, artisan-carved products and each one is unique in characteristics, including color, inclusions, and slight size variations. Each piece may also have a different threshold for pressure and temperatures.
